Amazon River is an attractive, irresistible and magical place on earth. 1/5th of the entire water reserves of the universe flow through this river making it the world’s biggest river. The basin of this river is mainly an unknown forest which is known as Amazonia. According to the studies it has also been said that Amazon is also the longest river in the world. This river has also become a cultural landmark of South America since it collects water from all the continents of the world. The mouth of this river is incredible and amazing which measures 300 kilometers wide. There is also a giant tidal wave named Pororoca which measures four meters in height which goes from the Atlantic against the currents. This tidal wave makes it very dangerous and impressive for ships however it is a paradise for several surfers.
